This Week Will Be Done Entirely In Bullet Points

- Why, you may ask? Because I don't care to do any more at the moment.
- Brother has been sick this entire weekend, which is odd. As much as I get sick (6 times this year and hopefully not counting), he doesn't get sick. And on the rare fluke of nature he does, he never sits and rests; he goes about his entire days like nothing is wrong, just with a noticeable use of Kleenex and Tylenol. But Saturday he was feeling so sick that he basically slept or laid on the couch the entire time. Odd, and hopefully a speedy recovery for him.
- Last week I didn't turn on my computer for 3 days. It was exhilirating. It was inspiring. It was stressful.
- I have not opened my Google Reader in approximately 5 days. I am terrified.
- Finally finished the documentary series called The Up Series, and it is all sorts of amazing. Really makes me think about the trajectory of my life and how...unsteady it can be. And, ultimately, how that's ok.
- Job search still on. Spirits waning, but...it's not like I can give up.
- Friday night found me watching a movie with my mom while knitting. 23 going on...80?
- Yes, I can knit. I can also crochet, sew, hem, use a sewing machine, clean very well, bake like a pro and cook adequately. Slap me in an apron and send me the 1950s, I'm ready.
- Finally sat down to sort my photos into photo boxes and albums. It was...not easy. In the emotional, physical or organizational sense.
- Anyone else think Derek Smeath from Confessions of a Shopaholic (movie) is Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin) in 30 years? Distracting.
- On a related note, I adore me some Hugh Dancy (see photo). Really adore. But aside from the visual appeal, I'm really annoyed by his character in Confessions.
- Can we tell what was on TV while writing this post? Yep.
- Saturday night was lovely because I went to one of my best friend's apartment in La Jolla and we had a nice, relaxing evening of making food (homemade chicken enchiladas! Yummy) and watching a movie. It was perfect.
- One of my old best friends whom I haven't seen since 2005 will be visiting next month. I'm excited to see her again, but incredibly nervous, too. We've both changed so much since the end of high school. I trust we'll be fine, it's just nervewracking.
- This week brings about almost no plans. Aside from tennis twice this week and a small run on Wednesday, I got nothing. Thank goodness.

whaaat? three days without the computer? i would die or become a shell of my current self.
I agree, Hugh Dancy is super dreamy!
Hugh Dancy is adorable. When I was studying abroad in London, I went to see some play and he was in the audience, just a couple of rows in front of me. And I envy your ability to sew, crochet, etc.
